About the Play
A semi-autobiographical play loosely structured in 40 "recitations" based on an ancient Hindu hymn, The Hanuman Chalisa. Three Indian American daughters and their Indian mother grieve "Dad"'s death in a small town in Ohio, on a boat, with a kidney.
